Tallgrass Cottage – Walden Woods

The second we walked in we were blown away. So beautiful and welcoming! My sister who cleans homes was very impressed. The decor just made it feel relaxing. The kid friendly space even though it 4 adults made us smile. We’re from a huge family. My only wish that wasn’t there would have been a king size bed as we are used to that and tall ? I would recommend you 100%

Beautiful property in a convenient and quiet location. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Communications with WAYA made the stay stress free.

Our family was so fortunate to stay in Tallgrass Cottage during the 4th of July weekend. We felt at home with games for the kids upstairs and an open kitchen and living/dining area for us to convene. This was especially crucial as we experienced the tragedy of losing family in the Texas floods while we were there. The Texas and TCU decor brought comfort as we navigated that loss. Your cottage was a gift from God during a tragic time.

Beautiful home! So clean and modern. Very spacious and a wonderful backyard for fire pits! Great location to New Buffalo beach, as well as the Warren Dunes. Definitely will come back next year~

Tall grass Cottage was perfect for our family of 5! Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen and well decorated. We loved the pickle ball courts nearby and close proximity to all that Harbor Country has to offer!

We had a really great time in New Buffalo. This house was perfect for our family. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!

Before our trip, Ron Morales, from WAYA was great to work with. He was very thorough and attentive to communications in a timely manner.

The rental is beautiful, updated, and comfortable. The location is very close to the beach in New Buffalo; a 4-minute drive, would be a challenge to walk since there are no sidewalks a good deal of the way -just a narrow shoulder. We had to drive to the beach anyway because of 3 small children. The neighborhood was very safe and the neighbors were friendly. The loft was the highlight-the kids each had their own bed, play space, TV, and bathroom. All of their toys and belongings stayed up there which kept the downstairs free of clutter. My husband was a big fan of the screened-in porch he could have his own space to read and listen to the google pod. Also, the screened-in porch has a large table for 6-we ate every meal out there. No bugs in there, but, outside yes. No-fault of WAYA or the owners-Make sure you bring strong bug spray. The bathrooms were very clean and updated-as were the two large bedrooms with queen-sized beds.

NO DRESSERS-
One important thing missing were dressers in each of the large adult bedrooms. If you like putting your clothes away-no where to put them, nor did the closets have shelving in lieu of dressers for guests, so keep that in mind!

Overall, we had a great time being close to the town, beaches, breweries, wineries, etc. We would recommend this rental and will be renting from WAYA again next summer.

Once again we found another WAYA location that met our family's needs and Ron did a lot to help us out. The house was great and we loved the location.

Beautifully decorated and maintained. We really enjoyed the outdoor screened porch and deck too. It all felt very special and added to the enjoyment of our stay!

We had our annual girl’s trip at this cozy and beautiful house. It was our favorite place that we have stayed so far. We loved the location and the stocked, beautiful home. Secluded enough, yet close to all of the fun of New Buffalo. We will be booking here again for sure! Waya rentals was a great company to deal with too. Overall, excellent experience. Thank you!

A very clean place with lots of room and natural light and with a nice screened in porch. The gas grill is on the porch which keeps you dry when raining. There is also a gas heater for the colder months. It is conveniently located a little over a mile from downtown and less than two miles from the marina. . All in all we (two couples) had a very nice time staying there.

We really enjoyed this home!!! Great furnishings, great location, loved the screened in-porch!!! Highly recommend!!!!
